Generally speaking, when you are putting on various bolt on parts to increase your engine's power out-put, the main way that you are accomplishing this goal is by allowing the engine to operate more efficiently. What you are doing in this case is allowing the engine to pull in or push out, air with less resistance.

First, the most common rumor out there is that if you put any kind of performance part on your car, that your warranty is voided. Putting a performance part, or any aftermarket part for that matter, just means that any failure related to or caused by that part would not be covered entirely, or at all, by your warranty. JET Performance Power Tuning does not alter your vehicles calibrations in any way that would hurt fuel economy. Sludge build up causes engines to lose performance because it interferes with the ability of internal parts to operate freely. Might be due to, colder weather, winter grade gas, dirty PCV valve, dirty EGR, dirty air filter, dirt Mass air flow sensor (there is a spray you can buy to clean it out), dirty fuel injectors, low tire pressure, larger then oem tire size, front and/or rear end needs to be aligned, dirty air filter, weak battery or weak alternator. If you replace or clean any of the above pieces make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 15 minutes so the ECU will recalibrate itself.
