The most important thing about showering and shampooing is to avoid getting anything in the eyes that will cause you to rub them. Yes, you can! I don't recommend it for every time, unless that happens to work for your hair, but just once won't give you that washed-with-soap-hair feeling. It will not leave a residue like commercial soap. The body soap does not contain the same conditioning oils as the shampoo, so it will not leave your hair quite as soft, but some people wash their hair with it regularly with no problem. Depending on the climate, we vary the water temperature. Thus in the summer a cold hosing might be appropriate, but in the late spring, early fall a warm bath may be better. In the winter, no bath.
