Yes. All Tajikistani citizens who are not legal permanent residents of the United States (green card holders) require a visa to visit the United States, regardless of age.

Usually, the only documentation required is the completed application form which can be found online ( http://www.globalcrossroad.com/apply.php). Applicants have the option to either submit their application online or download the application from the website and submit the completed form to Global Crossroad's USA-based offices either by post or fax.

The application must be accompanied by a complete study protocol describing the objectives and methodology of the project, a protocol summary, a list of study personnel, institutional research safety form, evidence of training in human subjects protection for any external study personnel, the proposed consent form (when applicable), recruitment materials (when applicable), copy of grant application (when applicable), and thesis/dissertation proposal (when applicable).

If you do not complete the information in GLACIER and/or submit the required forms and documents in a timely fashion, the maximum amount of tax will be withheld from all payments made to you.

Once Global Crossroad receives and reviews your completed application, it is then forwarded to our In-Country Coordinator in Ghana who will then finalize a specific placement as per your qualifications and request.

It depends for what visa would you like to apply, but generally, you will need to provide the following as basic documentation: certified copy of the marriage certificate if you or anyone included in the application has been married job references and/or duty statements for at least the last 2 years of your career or appropriate documentation if you are a business person (articles of incorporation, business registration, income tax returns etc.)

The school will send you the necessary letter or certificate when they enrol you on a course. They will give you advice about how to apply for a visa. You can also ask a local representative to help you.
