America Online utilizes graphics compression software that speeds up the delivery of web pages to it's members by compressing images and various multimedia applications. Blurry images are often the result of movement during image capture. Either the camera was not held still ? a phenomenon called "camera shake" ? or the subject was moving and the camera did not fire with a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the action. See similar questions...

It is possible you have the Flash Mode set to one of the Slow Sync modes (lighting bolt with the word Slow). Slow synchronization flash sets a slow shutter speed for the background exposure and fires the flash for the subject exposure. Since the shutter speed is slow, your subject should be still and the camera should be on a tripod otherwise blur can result. See similar questions...

If your scans are looking bad on the screen, but printing out satisfactorily, it could be your video driver that is causing the problem. Try some different resolution and color settings in the "Display" portion of your control panel (after first making sure that you have the proper driver disks to restore your system to the original settings). You should be using a driver that provides 16+million colors, and a resolution of at least 800 x 600. See similar questions...

Make sure the images you upload are large enough resolution. At least 550 pixels along the longest dimension. Also, make sure your computer is not running any kind of "accelerator" programs. These programs are most common with aol and earthlink and "speed up" your download speed by reducing image quality. See similar questions...

If you are using a recent version of Acrobat Reader, and your printer successfully prints other types of documents, then the most common cause of Acrobat printing errors is a missing or damaged printer driver. Try uninstalling/reinstalling your printer, and be sure that the installation process uses the driver that comes on the printer's installation CD or diskette. Either you need to use the hotkeys to adjust the image, or the glasses lenses aren't flickering. If the image is blurry that could mean your glasses aren't turned on. For the wired they will turn on automatically, for wireless you need to hit the small ON button above the left lens. Click once for ON and it will stay on until you end the game. PTMac uses reduced size images for the warped image preview and in the panorama editor window. The scale of the thumbnail images had to be reduced to gain acceptable performance on older computers. You can change the scale of images used for the editor window via the pop-up in the lower left corner of the editor window. Depending on the size of the original document, some of the thumbnails are less than 1% of the size of the original. This extreme condensation of information is difficult to do with perfect clarity. This is where one or more of the raw detector scans has not reached the processing station. They are curved because the satellite is not precisely at its nominal location (for example, MSG-1 is at 3.4?W not 0?) and because the satellite's axis may not be quite parallel with the earth's axis, and the images acquired by the satellite are processed to correct the viewpoint.
