What is a tendon injury?

Tendon Injury (Tendinopathy)
Tendons are the tough fibers that connect muscle to bone. For example, see a picture of the Achilles tendon , which connects the calf muscle to the heel bone. Most tendon injuries occur near joints, such as the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. A tendon injury may seem to happen suddenly, but usually it is the result of many tiny tears to the tendon that have happened over time. Tendinitis. This actually means "inflammation of the tendon," but inflammation is rarely the cause of tendon pain. See similar questions...

What if my lamp is bowed?

UV Curing Lamp FAQ
A bowed lamp should be replaced immediately along with evaluation of the lamp cooling system. This condition is a direct result of improper lamp cooling. The lamp must be controlled where the surface temperature is between 600 - 800 degrees C. If the air around the lamp is not properly controlled, this temperature will rise causing the quartz tube to soften and lose its rigidity. Adjust the cooling and airflow around the lamp to reduce the temperature of the lamp body. See similar questions...

Acupuncture: Is It For Your Horse?

Equine Electro-Accuscope Therapy
This simple fact was brought home to me one day as I entered the barn to find a small group of people gathered around Shadow, a beautiful black Tennesse Walking Horse. These were all experienced horsemen and woman, but as we watched the practitioner attach small electrodes to Shadow's fetlocks and croup and hook her up to the overnight bag-sized machine, we were all seeing something we hadn't seen before. I think a little of Shadow's history is in order first. See similar questions...

Can I buy just a "bowed" crossbar?

Scotts Performance Products
Unfortunately, no. Renthal was nice enough to make a special handlebar that incorporates a "bowed" crossbar to allow the damper to fit and retain the low-bend bar. They will not sell just the crossbar, sorry! However it is a fairly simple operation to slightly "bow" your stock crossbar and or we stock a full selection of Protaper bars which eliminates the interference of a cross bar and makes access to the damper adjusters very easy. Who can play the bowed psaltery?

FAQ
This is the ultimate instrument for most anyone in all age groups. It is as easy to play as using one finger to sound out the melody on a piano.  Using my instruction/songbook you can play songs by number.  You don’t have to learn to read music (and if you do that’s all the better).  It is a great instrument to play by ear.  Once you learn where the notes are, most people can sound out the melody of a song in a very short time. How do I care for my bowed psaltery?

FAQ
I use a lacquer finish on the psalteries I build. The only thing you might have to do is clean the wood if it gets dirty from handling. Take some 4/0 steel wool and lightly polish the finish.  When you want to clean the rosin dust from under the strings, use a soft bristle paint brush to loosen the rosin dust and then blow it off.  You can use a can of compressed air like you would use to clean a computer keyboard, just be sure not to tip or shake the can. What is the history of the bowed psaltery?

FAQ
The ancient psaltery as mentioned in the bible, was a strummed or plucked instrument.  The bowed psaltery is a more modern instrument, about one hundred years old.  Some folks say it goes back much further.  The written reference I found states that it is a Tyrolean folk instrument.  Tyrol is a section of the Alpine region of Europe that has borders in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Don't know and wouldn't attempt a diagnosis. You have a type two acromion. If your doc didn't explain the different types try this website. It explains different types of impingement including those that are caused by type two and three acromions. I've got a shredded shoulder and one that's just a bit worn out. The worn out shoulder has been responding pretty well to rc exercises. I know for a fact I have a little bone on bone in that one. See similar questions...
