This means that we purchase the less expensive paperback copy if it is available. Some books only come in hardcover so then we don't have any other option except to offer the hardcover copy. W GreenWhen deciding which format to put a particular book into we carefully consider the nature of the text and who is likely to purchase it. As hardback is more expensive it is unsuitable for student texts. We often put practitioner texts into some form of hardback as this makes them more durable.
