What the hell is a Ukrainian Sausage?

The Main Page
Tom: Ukrainian Sausage is a food that really exists. But before I found that out, I was thinking to myself why Ukraine doesn't have it's own food, like French Toast, Polish Sausage, Irish Potatoes, etc. Turns out, there really is a recipe for kielbasa that is called "Ukrainian Sausage". One of these days, I'll put the recipe on here. Or, it could refer to something else, but only if your mind is in the gutter.

What's in a sausage?

They can be made with any meat but most sausages eaten in the UK are pork sausages made with pork meat, fat, a cereal filler, water, herbs and spices. You may not want to know what goes into sausages at the bottom end of the market. A typical recipe might look like: 30% pork fat, 20% recovered meat, 30% rusk and soya, 15% water and 5% assorted e-numbers, flavourings, sugar, flavour enhancer, preservative, colour etc etc.

Then why the hell do you do this?

something positive: frequently asked questions
A few reasons, I guess. For one thing, it keeps me going. I suppose it's a kind of therapy. I get to tell stories, or say things that have been bothering me, and it gets out in the open. Another reason is I like to entertain others, and so far as I can tell, S*P is doing that. Also, I'm hoping to one day be able to thrust myself into an art career, and S*P is my way of putting a foot towards that door. Please realize the comic won't be vanishing just because people don't donate.

What's the 'sausage music' in "The Blood"?

In "The Blood", Kramer and Newman are seen making sausages in Jerry's kitchen accompanied by some festive music. The song they're playing is "Ma?ana (is soon enough for me)". Originally recorded by Peggy Lee, the version used in the show is the Hammond version performed by Jackie Davis. (Capitol Records Ultra-Lounge series, volume 2, "Mambo Fever".)

What are sausage skins made of?

Natural skins are made of the intestines of pigs, sheep or cow's intestines. The natural skins are semi permeable and allow the sausage to 'breath' during cooking - letting some fat out and keeping the juices in. Artificial skins are made from collagen which is normally from cow skin, these tend to be used by the poorer quality sausages and are not used by many of the 700 Producers listed on the site.

How do I cook my sausage?

The Savory Pantry: Frequently Asked Questions
Your sausage is packaged in bulk, and each 1 1/2 pound package will make about six large patties. We suggest rolling them in the palm of your hand, and then patting them out on your grill or skillet with a spatula. You may want to use a weight as they cook if you like them thin and crispy like we do!

What the hell is [show] about?

ANUAS - FAQ
There are some good reviews in the series section. If your questions are not answered there, try looking at some pages devoted to the show. I suggest anipike as a good place to start. If you still don't get a straight answer on your point of befuddlement, ask the mailing list.

Why must there be a hell?

Sceptic Answers to Christian FAQs & Gospel of Reason
Ah, an insidiously fallacious question! No, there is no evidence for Hell, and there is no need for one. If you are telling me that there needs to be a Heaven and Hell in order for religious people to do good or bad, then quite frankly the moral lesson here is appalling. Personally, I don’t think there is enough evidence to suggest anything after death, but I’m not amoral. I don’t kill people out of pleasure.
