Deco Granite is a graded minus 20mm decorative gravel, which can be stabilised and compacted as a hard wearing, decorative driveway or pathway. Deco granite comes in 3 colours, brown, pink and gold, and should be stabilised with cement at 5%, or 1 bag of off-white cement per tonne of Deco Granite for pedestrian use, or 10%, or 2 bags of cement per tonne for driveways. Alternatively Deco Granite can be stabilised with builders lime at 5%, instead of cement.

No. Concrete provides a sub-base without flexibility. This may result in the decomposed granite cracking due to expansion and contraction with changes in moisture content and temperature.

Sealers are often specified to improve the weathering characteristics of precast panels, especially in urban areas where the building may be subjected to airborne industrial chemicals. Sealers can also help facilitate the cleaning and maintenance of the panels if they should become dirty. When sealers are used, they should be applied in the field, after all of the joints are caulked, repairs made and cleaning complete.

A.Granite Slabs are produced by cutting large granite blocks into 3/4" or 1-1/4" sheets. When applying sunscreen, make sure you apply it evenly and generously to all exposed areas of the skin. Adults should use about one fluid once per body application. Reapply often, as swimming, toweling off and perspiration can diminish sunscreen’s effectiveness. Every two hours is a good rule of thumb.

Granite is mainly used for monuments and buildings but has become popular for interior use. You will find granite in kitchen countertops, fireplaces, furniture tops, and floors.

Granite is a very hard natural igneous rock formation of visibly crystalline texture. It was once molten and formed as it cooled deep within the earth. It consists primarily of of quartz and orthoclase or microcline. Minerals within granite generally appear as small flecks throughout the stone, creating a "salt and pepper" look. Other types have veining similar to marble. Granite is a dense-grained, hard stone. It can be highly polished or finished in a variety of other ways.

The most common are the top mount, which uses self-rimming sinks, and undercounter, using undermount sinks. A unique application that only All Stone does is a flush mount. A solid surface sink is mounted to the underside of the Granite countertop. We then polish the inside rim of the Granite so there is no gap between the stone and the sink and the sink appears integrated with the counter. You'll see an example in the Gallery section.

Granite is an excellent product for use in kitchens and other food preparation areas. Under normal conditions it is stain, chip, scratch, and burn resistant. Like any other countertop material, if cleaned regularly and properly granite poses no health or sanitation problems. Marble is not recommended for use in the kitchen because of its tendency to stain and scratch.
