Nutritionists tell us that we need 2 liters of water a day to help the body function properly.

In the heated yoga room, your body needs an adequate fund of water to allow perspiration to release heat from the body as you practice. There are some acupuncture points on the inside of the wrist that seem to help nausea. Try using "Travel Bands" (developed to help travel sickness). They are cheap and can be purchased from large chemists. There are very clear instructions telling you how to use them. You may have to leave them on for several hours to get the best effect. Some people find ginger herb tea helps minimise the nausea feeling.

Occasionally, a person may feel tired when they start on a weight loss program, but this is a transient side effect as the body switches from using carbohydrate for energy to burning excess body fat. The effect usually disappears within a few days.
