area of a picture, or a section of text, that activates a function when selected. Hyperlinks are particularly common in multimedia applications. Clicking on a hyperlink can make the application display a picture, run a video, or open a new window of information.

quot;Link" is short for hyperlink; they are the same thing. A link is a reference on one Web page that points to another Web page. A link can be a word or phrase of text, a button, or a graphic. When you click something on one Web page and are taken to a different page, you've clicked a link.

Use the <a> anchor element in Caption property of the Node, or when inserting a node using the Add method. The control fires the AnchorClick event when the user clicks an anchor element. Use the ShowToolTip property to programmatically show a tooltip for specified anchor element.

There are several ways to do this. Perhaps the easiest way is to select the hyperlinked shape or inserted picture and hit the delete button on the keyboard. To remove a text hyperlink, highlight the text, right click, and select Hyperlink. Then, remove the checkmark from the "Enabled" button in the hyperlink screen.
