The PTSMail Utilities are currently supported on FreeBSD, Linux and Solaris. However any version of Unix which uses sendmail can use the PTSMail utilities.

Our Unix system is very old and the new authentication software has to have pam (pluggable authentication module,) support for any connection type. Exceed used XCMDP to connect to the Unix system. XCMDP is no longer a valid authentication method. Exceed does still work but in passive mode. Passive mode is when you run Exceed and don't pick a server, instead you click the 'passive' button and then run a third party ssh client, such as putty.

The DUNS for the most part uses standard tools that are available on all of the different variants of Unix, so porting from one system to another system is generally not a problem. Indeed, a collection of different Makefile parameters is given for several different systems in the makesystem directory. Check and see if your system is there.
