In order to view on screen lyrics on your television, you need a CDG or CD+G compatible player. If you insert an ABCD's Custom Karaoke Disc into a non-cdg compatible player, you will hear the music but will not see any on screen lyrics. Please understand that most DVD players are not CDG compatible and while they will play the music, they will not display the words on the television screen.

Yes in addition to the computer data the full length audio CD is included. The computer data is hidden from audio players. The disc is mastered using mixed mode type 2 formatting to ensure compatibility with all audio players as well as almost all CD ROM drives.

Some compact disc players do not read CD-R discs. The performance of CD-R playback is always a combination of the blank CD media used, the drive that recorded it, and the player that reads it...and they do not always get along. A DVD-Video player cannot play CD-i discs, since it does not include all of the CD-i logics such as the required operating system in ROM, the CPU and the appropriate audio and video decoding ICs.
