It is not always necessary to provide an official translation of any documents used to support your application. It is often sufficient to highlight the relevant prerequisite courses and translate these course titles. However, if you are concerned that your qualifications may be unclear, you should contact the Summer School Office for advice.

Visiting students need only fill out the on-line application, obtain a PID and PAC, enroll using Webreg and pay their fees by the deadline to successfully enroll.

For a high school transcript, it must have the date of graduation. College transcripts must arrive in a sealed envelope from the sending institution. In order for the student to receive credit for each class, TAMU-C must receive an official transcript from each school attended. Although classes may be listed on one transcript, the school may have listed it as the course it transferred in instead of what class TAMU-C would transfer it in.

Call the MARS number (301.403.0500) or make your request via WEB (www.testudo.umd.edu). Transcripts will be mailed the day after your request has been received. There is no charge for transcripts. No because these core courses are required to meet the standards of the National Policy Board for Educational Administration and the National Council for Accreditation in Teacher Education (NCATE).

A written request with your signature is required to obtain a transcript. Forms are available online or at the Admissions Office windows in the College Center. You may submit a request in person, by mail or by sending a fax to (916) 691-7467. Include your name, student ID number, date of birth, social security number, where you wish the transcript sent, and your signature. You may request two official transcripts at no charge, and there is a $2 fee for each one thereafter.

A Medical Education Verification Form OR the original, official transcripts showing courses taken, dates of attendance and degree conferred for each medical school attended must be provided. Under special circumstances, the Board reserves the right to request additional medical school documents.

Official copies are usually required for other universities, institutes, scholarship sponsors, certification, and employment. Unofficial copies are normally used for a student's personal use. Some institutions accept unofficial copies temporarily until an official copy can be sent. Check with the institution that is requiring your transcript in order to determine which transcript to request.

If you're a currently enrolled student, you can sign up with WebAdvisor and print it yourself. You must know your student identification number and have a valid email address, in order to access it. If you are not a current student, you have to request an official copy. Go to Transcripts.
