These meetings comprise twelve competing crews and two reserve crews; a crew consists of a driver and passenger. A draw is held before the meeting to determine the riding order, and these numbers are displayed on the front and sides of the machines. Meetings may be run with either four or six sidecars per heat depending on the width of the track. Crews take the starting gate positions indicated.
