When your name reaches the top of the list, we schedule your procedure in the first available opening. If you cannot fill that opening, your name is moved to the bottom of the list, unless we have given you less than seven days notice. If we are unsuccessful in reaching you (within 24 hours), your name will be moved to the bottom of the list. Please call our office for a complete list of our Standby Program requirements.

The "Standby" button shuts down the front panel LEDs and disconnects communication between the cable modem and the computer(s) connected through the cable modem, while remaining active on the cable operator's RF network. This provides a means of security to the user by "disconnecting" them from the Internet when they are not using it. SURFboard cable modems have an extra "Standby" LED that illuminates when "Standby" is engaged.

Participants are placed on a course's standby list according to the date signed onto the standby list, either via the website or by phone. You do not pay to be placed on the standby list. If space should open up in the class prior to the third class meeting, Graduate School staff will contact standby participants in order of their names appearance on the list. We make every effort to work participants into any slots that become open.

Standby, space-available registration means that when you submit your registration forms and payment, you will not be immediately enrolled in the course.

Once you have created an account and have logged into it you will see an area called "Affiliate Banners." Sessions take place over the phone. You will also receive total support from me via one-on-one personal email, as well as a suggested reading list based on what aspect(s) of your life you choose to work on. During our one-on-one calls we will review your progress since the prior session, explore the new information, set up a plan to move you forward, and keep you on track and accountable so that you reduce your stress level faster than you would on your own.

A standby describes the circumstance of a team of cryonics-emergency support people standing by the bedside of a patient waiting for the heart to stop − and for legal pronouncement of death.
