The deadlines depend on the semester in which you plan on attending a particular CSU (California State University) or UC (University of California) school. CSUs and UCs accept on-line applications. Go to CSUMentor to apply for CSUs or UC Applications to apply to UCs. Transfer Center staff can help you learn how to navigate through this process. There are a number of differences between a CSU and a UC. The following shows some of those differences:

Yes and no. The UC system allows you to apply to all its campuses with just one application. There is a fee for each school to which you have them send your application. The CSU system requires a separate paper application for each campus. Using the online application is an efficient way to save time.

Answer - The Channel Service Unit (CSU) receives and transmits signals from and to the WAN (wide area network) line and provides a barrier for electrical interference from either side of the unit. The CSU can also echo loop-back signals from the phone company for testing purposes. Often a CSU and DSU are combined into a single piece of equipment called a CSU/DSU.

English and Fine Arts classes at Freestyle are UC approved courses. Approval for our Elective courses is pending.

The GPA necessary for admission varies from campus to campus and from major to major. Please consult with the University Transfer Center for the latest information published by the UC and CSU systems.

MA Filmmaking: Deadlines are usually around two months before the end of the term before the one you wish to join. Approximate dates would be 1st June for the following Autumn Term, starting in September; 1st October for the Spring Term, starting in January; and 1st February for the Summer Term, starting in May. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible, particularly if they wish to apply for one of the Skillset bursaries.

For students resident in the United States, the application deadline is May 1. For students resident in other countries, the deadline is April 15. The fee is $75, payable to Yale University. The selection committee for the Eli Whitney program usually meets in early to mid-June, and candidates for the program are notified of their decisions before the end of June.
