Digital Photography FAQ
A typical image editor will decompress and recompress a JPEG file when you save it, resulting in a loss of image quality. You can avoid this if you use special software that can do a very limited set of operations that don't involve recompressing, i.e., they just rearrange the data already in the file. You are typically limited to rotations at multiples of 90 degrees and some cropping actions: There are many others than I haven't listed. (See here for more.

Are smaller cameras more susceptible to image blur from camera movement?

Digital Photography FAQ
Yes and no. Depending upon weight, balance and ergonomics, it may be harder for you to hold a small camera steady. Some people mistakenly believe that cameras with a smaller capture medium (sensor or film) or more susceptible to blur than cameras with a large capture medium given the same field of view just because the capture medium is smaller.

Why do the images I add appear on the centre-left-right-up-down side of the Tool active image?

FAQ
It all depends on the Left top/center/bottom, center top/bottom and Right top/center/bottom options, which are activated when you add the images. These options affect the position of the added images and can be used to re-position the image after it has been added to a theme. Choose the image from the project image list. Use the arrows to move/rotate/scale the image without using the mouse. You can make all the other changes directly from the RWmultitool panel.

Which image quality mode should I use when I shoot my images?

FE-140 > Frequently Asked Questions
The best way to determine which image quality mode is best for any shot is to decide ? before you shoot ? how you will use the captured image. The default HQ mode is ideal if you plan to print your images in the standard 4" x 6" snapshot size. It's great for scrapbooking or for printing from the kiosks often found at drugstores, camera stores or retailers with on-site photo-processing labs.

What is the preferred image quality or resolution for uploaded images?

Designer Photo Gifts - FAQS
The preferred image resolution depends on the size the image will be printed on your Photo Gift. Some of our ornaments have an image hole that is only about 1¾" in diameter; in our calendars, the image will print much larger - 8" x 10½". We will display a message if you select an image we feel may not have a high enough resolution to look good.
