Nope, the fireplaces are gas and on a thermostat. They serve as the main heat source for the cabins in the winter so they are not operational in the summer. Our fireplaces are so efficient that the heat they produce just from keeping the pilot light on would be unpleasant in the summer time. (We do have A/C and back-up electric heat as well!) The grill is gas and propane is provided.
