What is this weird error about ckserve not running on my machine?

PaqRat Customer Support -- FAQ
The security software used by PaqRat is called CrypKey. I bought it--I didn't write it--so I cannot control everything about it. One major problem is this "ckserve" error. This error occurs when you run PaqRat on machines running the NT version family, including Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Despite what the error message says, it actually has nothing to do with your network.

How can I perform an operation on every machine on the network that is running?

Environment settings set by a batch file are not working.
Normally a logon script can be used but if you wish to run a command/copy a file to every current machine now you can use the following. This outputs a list of all current machines to the file list.txt. We can then parse that file to perform an operation, e.g. to copy files: C:\> FOR /F " tokens=1 " %i in (list.txt) do copy quaropts.dat "%i\C$\program files\navnt" FOR /F " tokens=1 " %%i in (list.txt) do copy quaropts. How can I access the web interface from a different machine than the one it is running on?

SpamBayes FAQ
By default, the web interface rejects browser access unless the browser is running on the same machine as the interface - if it was open to anyone, then people who came across your machine would be able to change your settings and possibly read your mail. In some cases, however, you might want to open access up - if you use more than one machine to process mail, for example. See similar questions...

Why do I get "Can't locate TCL private headers" error when running configure?

Expect FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Expect is looking for tclInt.h which is one of Tcl's private headers. Tcl doesn't install this by default, so Expect tries to find it in Tcl's source or build directory. To explain where that directory is, use the --with-tclinclude flag when running Expect's configure. If someone (your vendor, for example) has supplied you with Tcl but without providing tclInt.h, get a source distribution and install it yourself (or get a binary distribution that includes the private headers). Why are there so many weird people on here?

Ultima Dragons -- Frequently Asked Questions
Back in ancient Sosaria, Mondain had a twin brother Bernie. Bernie's greatest accomplishment was the creation of the Gem of Spam which, when it was accidentally shattered by the Stranger (who was on his way to Mondain's Apartment o' Doom) really smelled and looked icky. But later, when Perrier was accidentally spilt on the squishy mess that had once been Spam but was now... well, bits of Spam.. See similar questions...

Why do I get the error ''nlist failed'' when running, for example, top or systat?

Frequently Asked Questions for FreeBSD 2.X, 3.X and 4.X
The problem is that the application you are trying to run is looking for a specific kernel symbol, but, for whatever reason, cannot find it; this error stems from one of two problems: Your kernel and userland are not synchronized (i.e., you built a new kernel but did not do an installworld, or vice versa), and thus the symbol table is different from what the user application thinks it is. If this is the case, simply complete the upgrade process (see /usr/src/UPDATING for the correct sequence). See similar questions...

When running LOADEST, I get "Error: Input File Not Found". What's wrong?

LOADEST FAQ
This error occurs when LOADEST can not find the control, header, calibration, or estimation file that it is looking for. All four of these files must reside in the folder/directory from which you are executing the LOADEST command. The control file must be named 'control.inp'; names for the remaining input files must correspond to the filenames specified in the control file. Why is my Pontiac cassette radio displaying a weird error code?

_7
The radio will detect a number of conditions based on the tape being used, and if there's a problem, one of the following is displayed: "CLN" for clean the heads, "E10" for the cassette being too tight, "E11" for the cassette being broken, and "E13" for communication problems with the unit. Either try cleaning the unit with a cassette cleaner (available at most record and CD stores) or try a different cassette. Also, pressing the "EJECT" button for 5 seconds will clear the "CLN" message. See similar questions...

When I try running aMSN, I get an error "unknown color Black". How can I fix it ?

Frequently Asked Questions - AMSN
This problem is not coming from aMSN, it's an Xorg faulty installation. You probably have a bad Xorg configuration for the file rgb.txt (especially with some versions of Xgl). If you are using xgl, you most probably have the file rgb.txt in /etc/X11 . Xgl in Ubuntu Dapper is usually misconfigured and looks for the file in /usr/share/X11 . Make a symlink to it in /usr/share/X11 and restart your X server. If the RgbPath line does not exist at all, add it under the section "Files". See similar questions...
