PWRDF funds programs of Emergency Relief, Community Development, Human Rights, Peace-building, and Public Engagement. Within these programs PWRDF has special emphasis on Women, HIV/AIDS, Youth, Refugees and Indigenous Peoples.

Persons with autism need to be empowered with decision-making and allowed to realize there's a consequence to their choice. Soma begins by teaching students how to choose and what to choose. Soma first asks them to select from two choices. Eventually students progress to spelling by pointing to letters when presented with one row (3-6 choices), then two rows, and so on, up to a letter board (26 choices). Building the students' self-esteem is an important aspect of RPM.

All students also have opportunities to perform throughout the year in community concerts, master classes and recitals, and to attend Boston area concerts free of charge through our enrichment program. First is the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) which is designed to provide military training to tertiary level students in order to motivate, train, organize, and mobilize, them for national defense preparedness. Second is the Literacy Training Service (LTS) which is designed to train the students to teach literacy and numeracy skills to school children, out-of-school youth and other segments of society in need of their services.

The compiler only works for a small subset of Basic and produces quite inefficient code. I do not recommend it.

The interpreter only works for a very small subset of Basic and its runtime efficiency is abysmal (the interpreter is actually implemented as a custom virtual machine executed by a VM interpreter written in C). There are at least two free Basic interpreters that may suit your purpose: yabasic and bwbasic. The former is a plain Basic interpreter, or really p-code compiler + interpreter, like Perl.
