Our Student Records Department has PSAT, SAT and ACT test scores on the transcripts for some students, but only if the student provided us with his/her correct social security number and put the correct social security number on the test at the time the test was taken. Test scores are posted from a data file purchased from the testing company, so we can't be certain that all information is provided. Yes, scores are needed for all Freshmen and for transfer students with less than 24 college credits. While FUS will always use the best test score received for a student, we will only use composite scores and will not use a combination of the best sections from different scores. If scores are only slightly lower than the required ACT or SAT score, then the student may obtain 3 academic letters of recommendation and have them sent to Franciscan University. A copy of your score report will be sent to you and the schools you list on your registration form. That might include your high school, if you list its code number, and several colleges or universities. Part of the fee for students taking the test is the cost of sending your score report to colleges, universities, and/or scholarship programs that you designate. If you had your scores sent to NAU, an advisor can look up your information at Orientation and inform you of your placement. You will receive a scaled score of 1-36 on each of the 4 ACT tests (you will receive a raw score of 2-12 on your essay that represents the sum of the 1-6 scores from two graders). Your composite score on the ACT is the average of your 4 scores rounded to the nearest integer, so it is also a 1-36 score.
