We do not recommend making more than three jumps in one day simply because of the "sensory overload" factor.

If you perform properly on all 3 of those practice-ripcord-pull jumps, you'll move on to your first freefall. That first freefall takes place from about 3,500 ft. You'll gradually move up to higher altitudes for longer freefalls depending on your skill progress. Some people get up to "the top" on about their 13th jump.
