When you are working with the calendar, the Current Calendar drop down menu displays the calendar you are working with. It's a good idea to check the Current Calendar drop down menu every time you create an event.

Chances are another MUSC calendar user invited you to a meeting. When someone does this, it automatically shows up on your calendar. The + radio button means accept, the - radio button means decline, and the ? radio button means undecided. Clicking on the event name will display detailed information about the event. Clicking on the organizer name will start an email compose session (handy for asking for more information about the event or to explain why you are declining).

OggSync uses the Outlook “Category” to track which Google Calendar it belongs to (with the exception of the “default” Google calendar). Enter the name of the Google Calendar (Exactly) in the Category field in Outlook.

If your phone or PDA software doesn’t allow you to edit the category of your event, you may try eXtreme Agenda to enter a new event and specify the Google Calendar name as a category.

While using the ‘Tasks’ window (click on the Tasks button in the lower-left nav bar), click on the ‘New’ button found at the upper-left of the Outlook screen. A Task properties window will open… name the task; enter starting and due dates; and assign a priority. You may click ‘Save&Close’ at this point, but before you do you may also wish to enter more supporting or explanatory detail about the task in the ‘Details’ field provided.

There are several options for create a new webpage, depending on whether the page is to be included in the menus or it to be a basic page linked to from the body content of another webpage. To add a new page that is in the menus, edit the nav/site.navinc file to add the new page at the appropriate place in the menu structure. Save changes to the navigation file. The menu system will automatically be regenerated and will create any pages that have been added.

These are the necessary steps in Windows XP. Windows XP requires administrator rights to create tasks. XP also requires the user to have the account password protected.
