The alphabet is remarkably easy to memorize, taking most people about 2 hours just for the letters alone. (Contrast this to weeks or months to learn how to type on a typewriter; also 2 hours is roughly the same time it takes to learn Graffiti for the PalmPilot.

The Egg differs from the Twiddler in a subtle but significant way: The egg was designed to address the problem of autonomous usage; of capturing ideas and accessing information when the desktop computer was not nearby. The Twiddler, by contrast, only identified three-handed operation as a problem, the resulting solution is designed for use when you're tethered to a workstation, just like the keyboard.

Learning varies with individuals. Most people learn the alphabet and numbers in about an hour, but usually not more than two hours. The tutorial, in the manual we provide, walks you through the alphabet at your own pace. Once you become familiar with the chords (chords are the finger combinations used to type), you can refer to the convenient Reference Guide which has all the commonly used chords on a single two-sided sheet. Then, just start typing!

Yoga is not a subject that is learnt to a certain level upon which one is "qualified." It is a subject which has a beginning but no end - the more one progresses in one's practice, the more the subject opens up and the more one realises there is more to be learnt, absorbed and applied. B.K.S Iyengar has been practicing for over 65 years and states that he is still a student who is constantly discovering and learning new things through yoga.

When a child learns braille, the learning rate is similar to that for print. When an adult learns braille, generally a year or more is necessary for fluency to develop.

It will last for thousands of performances! If it gets dirty, you just wash it with water and mild soap (be careful not to get water inside the egg, it takes a long time to dry...). When it's clean it gets a little sticky. To prevent this, you add corn starch on the outside and the inside. Corn starch is used for making sauces and for other cooking purposes, and your mother will tell you where you can buy it. It costs almost nothing.

JQS workshop intensives are two days in length, and the self-study course may take up to three months to complete. However, as with any skill, continual practice is vital for the effectiveness of a JQS practitioner. It does not have to be refrigerated. Of course, the colder temperature would reduce the growth rate of any bacteria or other organisms that would be in it. Most users will require a total of three to six hours to learn the program. Patients can work at their own rate with the training manual and CD-ROM or - for the more symptomatic patient - in conjunction with a disciplined clinical and functional training program supervised by a licensed therapist. This completely depends on the person and circumstances. Some people have a lucid dream just a few nights after learning about it (without any specific effort), while some people can take months! If you don't get enough sleep or feel too stressed after work to try techniques, then it may take a long time, especially if you expect it to. It will also depend on how much effort you put in. However, everybody has the ability to dream lucidly.

Weather permitting, you will be flying solo during your first day of paragliding instruction. You won't fly very high, and the flight won't be very long, but you will experience the thrill and exhilaration of free flight! In order to acquire the basic skills necessary to fly on your own without instructor supervision, you need to take a Novice (Para 2) Certification Course, which generally takes an average of 7 to 10 days and requires a minimum of 25 flights.

ANS: Since the Qwerty arrangement is not logical or intuitive, learning it is like learning non-sensical letter arrangements - requiring repetition and drill, for weeks and months. Truth is, Qwerty wasn’t designed for ease of learning.

You can learn in just one day. Make plans to spend the entire day if you are attending one of our instructional courses. If you are making a tandem skydive you will usually jump (weather permitting) within one hour of your appointed time, but this may vary depending on the number of available Tandem Masters. It will take a minimum of 25 jumps to earn your A license.
