A - Home Schooled students are asked to follow the same admission application procedures. However Home Schooled students are asked to submit a comprehensive transcript of a senior year academic program as well as a courses and course evaluations of the ninth through eleventh grades. If students do not receive grades, please explain the method of evaluation of course content.

Each district handles home schooling differently. Some children are handled through the school, and others are not connected to a school. If students are handled through the school, school personnel will complete the surveys. If a child is being home-schooled and the parent/guardian is the primary teacher, surveys will be sent to the home.

According to the Ohio Education of Education, a home schooled student MUST do one of the following in order to be eligible for PSEOP: Enroll in a traditional public school and then participate in the program. Yes. Many OSAC scholarships are open to home-schooled students. Yes. We'll be happy to work with you. Simply fill out the Early College application and send it to us with your ACT scores. We will also need a transcript of sorts listing the courses or course equivalent of what you have completed through your home schooling. As a home school student without a GPA, you will be assessed a standard GPA of 3.50 from the Early College office. This GPA will allow the Early College office to assess your index score.

If the local school district has your child's contact information, then they may release that information to the military. Your local school district may have your contact information even if your child is not enrolled, especially if your child tests through the district or is registered with the district to obtain a GED or high school diploma equivalent. The military can also get information for its non-school-based, Pentagon database through DMV records, consumer data, and other sources.
