You must either come in person, or submit a written request. The written request must include name of deceased, date of death, place of death, date of birth, age at time of death and race. You MUST SIGN your request and give an address where we are to mail the certified copy. The fee for the certified copy must accompany your written request. The request is filled the day we receive it and it goes out in the next business day's mail.

Payment is accepted in the form of a check or money order payable to the Registrar/City of Troy or cash.

Death Certificates are filed with the Clermont County Board of Health by your Funeral Director. Should you require certified copies, they can be ordered through your funeral home or they may be purchased from the Clermont County Board of Health, at 2275 Bauer Road, Batavia, Ohio 45103, (513) 732-7499.

Certified copies of the death certificate may be obtained by contacting the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office by phone at (310) 462-2137 or visit their office at 12400 East Imperial Highway, Norwalk, CA 90650.

Birth or death certificates or copies of the same are available from the Clerk and Recorder's Office at the Courthouse, 155 West Granite, Butte, Montana, Room 201. Certified copies of birth certificates are $5.00; death certificates are $3.00.

Certified copies of the death certificate are issued by the county or state where the death occurred. Typically, you can expect the certified copies to arrive within two (2) weeks time, but some circumstances may make the process longer.
