The NOD32 on-demand scanner provides an on-demand virus checking of your disks. It is recommend to carry our a full system scan of all disks on a regular basis.

The On-Demand Scanner detected a virus but cannot clean or delete it. The only available option is to leave the file alone.

The files will be extracted (by default, to C:\Program Files\Eset\Install directory) and the setup program will be launched automatically.

A test of NOD32's functionality can be acomplished by means of the eicar test file. To test AMON, temporarily disable IMON by unticking the "Internet Monitor (IMON) enabled" checkbox in the IMON panel. Next, download the eicar test file from here. If AMON is working properly, it will pick up eicar upon saving the file to the disk. To test IMON, make sure it's enabled (with a green icon) and then download the eicar test file from the aforementioned location.

NOD32 can be uninstalled directly from the Start menu - Programs (All programs) - Eset - Uninstall, or trough Start - Settings - Control panel - Add / Remove programs

To update NOD32 manually, open NOD32 Control Center - Update - Update and click the Update now button in the right-pane.
