We encourage patients not to over-exert themselves with the relief of pain, as it takes time for the body to adjust and restore itself. We highly recommend a good stretching routine to help "re-educate" the muscles. This routine can be provided as part of a treatment package.

Yes, you will have to contact your health plan for pre-authorization of MRgFUS treatment prior to scheduling your treatment session. You may also have to get preauthorization for the pre-screening diagnostic tests that are required to verify you are an appropriate candidate for MRgFUS. We suggest you work with your referring physician and/or staff at the MRgFUS provider site you have been referred to for treatment.

This depends on a number of factors starting with the severity of the acne that is being corrected. However, most clients achieve optimal results after 8 treatments (twice a week for 4 weeks). Once this initial series is completed, the client may want to return for treatment about every 60 days depending on his/her lifestyle, diet and other factors that may help control or incite the acne.

Many clients are satisfied after the initial series of treatments (usually 8). However, the factors, like oily skin, that initially created the acne are probably going to create acne in the future. To avoid this, many clients come back about every 60 days for a follow-up treatment which kills any bacteria that has started to develop since the initial series of treatments.

If a problem recurs after your discharge from treatment, we're always happy to help. Although this isn't common, it does occur, especially if, for example, you've suffered several episodes of back pain in the past and have an underlying weakness (especially if you don't do the exercises we've given you!).
