Email Command requires that when sending out-bound email using our SMTP servers that your email software be authenticated before allowing the use of our servers -- this helps us fight spammers. Your email software must be configured to authenticate you before your out-bound email will be sent. The username and password are the same ones you use to receive email. For most email software you will have the option of selecting to use the same username and password as you use for incoming email.

VPN allows you to use the same email configuration away that you use on campus. See Install and Configure Eudora.

Any popular email program, often called "email client software", will work. Two of the most popular are Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird. Thunderbird may be downloaded for free at www.Mozilla.com.

In general, POP3 meets most users' needs. IMAP4 is best for sophisticated users that frequently use more than one computer, such as a desktop and a laptop, and need email access from either computer but don't want to use Webmail access. If you want to read email on one of your email accounts via a POP3 email client, go to the email administration page and create at least one email address and allocate it to a specific email account (e.g. me@example.com -> example1). POP3 is for incoming email, so make sure to enter a SMTP server for outgoing email as well, more info here).

In regards to the software setup. The MFC is the device installed into the vehicle. After the installer connects the MFC to the vehicle, the next step is to install the software configurations for those devices, e.g.output1=door lock action, output2= window roll down, e.g. a software button might control multiple outputs, e.g. with the case of engine start, you need about 3 outputs, 1 for the ignition, 2 for Key accessory 1 (radio etc), and 2 (heater controls, distributor etc).

If I allow partial entries for weeks with Thursday, Friday or Saturday games, what happens if the player re-enters a selection for an earlier game with their later picks? I don't want my players changing their earlier picks.

The three crucial parts to setting up email are the username, password and mail servers. For the username and password, simply copy what you have created in Plesk to your mail program (Outlook, Eudora, etc). Finally, make sure your incoming mail server is mail.yoursite.com where yoursite.com is your domain name. You have to use your ISP's SMTP for the outgoing mail server which varies depending on what ISP you use to connect to the internet.

A POP3 email box is a complete mailbox on our server. To read and send your email from anywhere in the world you just visit a specific URL and enter your username and password.
