If you let us know that you've changed your tag we can transfer the existing game and achievements data across to a new profile in our database. For age calculation. The Figure Skating Events registration forms require the participant's age on a particular day (like the day of the competition) to be used for things like sort event groupings. By knowing the birthday, the system automatically calculates the skater's age.
