Yes! Your TuneCore UPC can be registered with SoundScan. However, YOU must register the UPC with them directly (see below). SoundScan is a service run by the Nielsen Corporation--the same ones who rate television shows. SoundScan is an important part of the record industry, because it tracks the sales, physical and digital and more, of albums and songs and even music videos. SoundScan can track your music and music video sales too, if you want.

No. Names, titles, and short phrases by themselves are not subject to copyright. However, if they are combined with images and/or graphical design elements then they may be registered through the CRS as a logo or graphical design. You may be able to register a name, title, or short phrase as a trade mark. The institutions handling these matters will vary from nation to nation and you should consult an IP lawyer in your local jurisdiction for advice.

Yes. The registration fee for a series is only $29.95. The series will be listed as one title at Autographed By Author. When visitors click on the series title, they'll transfer to a page in your site that features the series.

No. Names and titles do not fall under copyright protection. And a complete copy of your work, not just its name, must be submitted for registration of that work to take effect. However certain items such as company or personal logos can be submitted, as, though they do contain a name, the combination of this with artwork which is covered by copyright can make a logo a copyrighted work, and therefore suitable for registration and even trade marking.

Gather up all the receipts for the parts you used to make the trailer, and contact your local Louisiana State Police Troop to arrange for an inspection and to have a VIN assigned. The trooper who inspects your trailer will give you a receipt of inspection; take this receipt along with your driver's license to your local Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) location.

Basically, you need to have a barcode. If you don't have a barcode, we can provide you one. We then list that barcode with SoundScan. If your product is already barcoded we check to see if it is listed with SoundScan, and if it is not we will list it. Beyond the requirement of a barcode, if an artist is found cheating on sales reports, that would make the artist ineligible for further SoundScan reporting. Especially through STS!

The artist and album title show up along with Independent Records as the parent label. However, you can include your own label as the sub label on the SoundScan registration form.

You must register and title your vehicle when you become a resident of Idaho. Yes! When you register, you will suggest categories for your book. We may start a new category to accommodate your title. We also add categories when current categories grow too large. When that happens, your title may move to a different, hopefully more appropriate, category.
