If you see a message indicating that Windows Media Player is buffering after the video has started playing, it means that the player ran out of data from the stream and has to wait to receive more data from JumpTV before it can start playing again. This can be caused by any of the following: You are trying to view a stream for which your connection to the Internet is inadequate. For example, watching a 300k stream on a 64K ISDN or dial up connection.

The bandwidth of your Internet connection could be too low. But most probably, that's the broadcaster's fault and his bandwidth isn't sufficient to serve the stream. If you are a broadcaster, please set up a normal Shoutcast server and test if you can serve at least two clients without problems. To decrease the bandwidth requirements of P2P-Radio, stream with a lower bit rate. You should use the Ogg Vorbis format because it sounds better at low bit rates.

To play DVDs in Windows Media Player (version 9, 10 or 11) you need a MPEG-2 decoder that is capable of decoding DVD video and is also compatible with WMP. The K-Lite Codec Pack contains a compatible decoder. Some examples of compatible decoders are: Cyberlink, DScaler5, InterVideo, MainConcept and nVidia PureVideo.
