It is possible to damage equipments when playing with PC vidoe hardware and workstation monitorts. If the monitor has standard video inputs, is workign properly, cable is properly constructed and everything is connected to properly grounded power outlet then the risk of damaging the graphics card is minimal. Some monitors can be damaged by sending wrong frequencies to them, so be sure that you send right frequencies to monitor.

DVI-D is used for digital connections (like DFP or P&D-D) between source video (video cards) and digital LCD (or rare CRT) monitors. It appears that the OS X Classic engine does not allow QuickTime video input in most cases. We have had reports of some users getting this to work but in most cases it appears that the QuickTime FireWire input does not work in Classic. If you have not yet purchased the software, you can use the demo version to determine if video input will work for you.

On WIN 98 the problem happens when the driver can't initialize video in Overlay mode with the current installed VGA card. Not all the current VGA cards will support Overlay mode with the Video Jet card, most of the problems can be solved by additional settings. This VGA card compatibility problem should be tested with the VIDCAP program provided in the driver disk.
