The main medium used for chalk drawings is Prang Artist/Lecturer's Chalk, manufactured by Dixon Ticonderoga in Sandusky, Ohio using FDA approved pigment with a calcium carbonate base and clear liquid soap binder. There are 25 colors in 1x1x3 inch square sticks. Lecturer's chalk is softer and less dense than pastel due to it's media base calcium carbonate as opposed to the harder gum base of pastel.

All chemiluminescent glow products sold by The GlowSpace are very safe when used in a responsible manner. As mentioned above, all of the liquid chemicals are stored safely inside a durable plastic outer casing. You should never intentionally rupture the plastic casing of a glow product, because if it has been activated, it will contain small pieces of broken glass that could be harmful. For many years, the only treatment for CML was palliation with the drug busulfan (a drug that reduces the number of white cells and platelets as well as red cells but does not slow down progression of the disease. Hydroxyurea was also used for this purpose. Then it was found that interferon-alpha can control CML in about 80% of patients and reduces the Philadelphia chromosome in about 40%.

The Bcr-Abl oncogene is present in 95% of CML (Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia) patients and about 20% of ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) patients.
