However these songs are provided as 128kbs only, unless they are purchased, in which case they are provided for listening and download as 192kbs files. If you're willing to let users have your music for free, then everyone can listen and download them in 192kbs stereo.

We play contemporary Latin American music, mainly Salsa, Merengue and Latin Pop. The sound varies a lot, from big and bold, to smooth and with a groove. We do try to keep the music accessible.

With Northern Star, there are no 3rd party applications to install, and no subscription service to sign up for. However, in order to play a track on your computer, you will need to use the music player software that is installed on your computer, for example Windows Media Player, I-Tunes, Sonic Stage etc. You will also need a program such as Winzip to extract the downloaded MP3 package. Northern Star’s downloaded MP3s are compatible with all portable MP3 hardware and software.

We have a very comprehensive selection of music. This includes the 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, Motown, Soul, Rock'n'Roll, along with the very latest chart tracks. At the majority of functions with a mixture of all ages in attendance we find that a selection of all types of music eras is welcome. Suitable low level background music is played whilst your guests arrive and during a buffet or dining break. Guests are invited to make their requests throughout the evening.
