N-acetyl-cysteine, or NAC for short, is a special form of the amino acid cysteine and a potent immune-booster. The acetyl group protects the cysteine in its journey from your mouth to your cells. NAC has been called a glutathione “pro-drug”, since it acts as a precursor for the biosynthesis (bodily manufacture) of that crucially important molecule. NAC was originally used in the 60s to break up lung mucous in patients with respiratory ailments.

There is little difference in the two terms. Most "nudists" tend to participate in social nudity via resorts, camps, and other similar settings, and they tend to practice social nudity for its own sake. "Naturist's" tend to be more active in their pursuit making sure that clothing-optional recreation is always available.

Joining a Naturist group opens up a whole new lifestyle. Nude living greatly increases the pleasures of camping, swimming, sunbathing, sports, and the feeling of closeness with nature. The enjoyment of all of this is increased when shared with others. Social nudity breaks down self-consciousness and barriers of class, education, religion and race between people. Naturists realize that clothing is not at all essential to moral living.

Naturist events that are held at resorts usually have a type of informal country club atmosphere where men, women and children camp, swim, play and sunbathe together and enjoy each others company without wearing clothes. These resorts are usually on farm sized properties in quiet rural areas where much of the natural beauty has been preserved or re-established.

It is thought that the NAC will counteract the absorbtion of the magnesium, if taken at the same time. Mucomyst and NAC capsules that are compounded by a pharmacist are made with pharmaceutical-grade chemicals in a timed release formula that keeps the level of NAC in the bloodstream longer. Compounded NAC and liquid Mucomyst require a doctors prescription. Over the counter NAC capsules are sometimes made with food-grade chemicals.

They won't unless you choose to tell them. Other naturists are, of course, fully understanding and would want to protect your enjoyment of naturism rather than jeopardise it. People are usually interested in the subject, and naturism is something to be proud of. Naturists cover the complete range - singles, partners, married couples . . . Most clubs are family orientated, and usually you will see parents with children from babies upwards with their grandparents.

Normally you would be met by an existing member and would be shown around the club grounds and facilities. You would also have the opportunity to meet other members at the club on the day of your visit so you can ask them additional questions if you wish. Having been shown round the club you would then have the choice of staying for as long as you like for the rest of the day or you can go away and have a think about whether you wish to join or not. You would be under no pressure whatsoever.

There are some 30 nudist beaches on Gran Canaria, with the most famous being around the Sand Dunes in Maspalomas. Naturism is not acceptable everywhere though, as a general rule it is best to cover up inside the main resort areas. Several Hotels offer designated Naturist areas and there is even a dedicated Naturist Complex called Magnolias Natura.

Depending on whom you ask, there could be no difference. In Europe, the term naturist is the most common, with nudist being the older term. In North America, some people use the two words interchangeably. Others define two different philosophies which have nudity in common. Those who find a difference define naturists as closer to nature and more interested in free beaches, and nudists as people who practice nudity more in an urban club setting.

It is not the aim of this site to collect information about accommodation since there are plenty of guide books which serve that purpose. But most towns and villages have hotels and rooms to rent and with the exception of the more remote beaches if you find somewhere you love it should be quite easy to find somewhere to stay nearby, especially outside the peak of the season.

Greek island beaches can be wild and natural places where there is no supervision. Nonetheless, please remember we are guests in another country and you should do nothing to cause offence either to local people or to other users of the beach. The Captain does occasionally, unfortunately, hear stories of naturists who have confused the beach with their bedrooms. Please use your common sense. Inappropriate behaviour could lead to naturists being expelled.

said before, Croatia has a long naturism tradition that goes way back in the early 20th century. For decades Croatia has been one of the favorite naturist destinations of western Europeans. Today there are more than 30 official naturist campsites, tourist villages, hotels, apartments, beaches and numerous more unofficial naturist bathing places. If you are a nautical naturist Croatia is ideal for you. Today there are 41 marinas with all necessary accompanying facilities at its disposal.

Yes and no. In Croatia naturist resorts and beaches are open to everybody. You don't need INF-FNI or any other membership to get into naturist resorts. However, if you have one most resorts will give you a discount (5-15%). Also some naturist resorts (Koversada, Solaris...) require valid INF card from single men in order to get in the resort.

Most of the Croatian naturist resorts are family oriented, but you don't have to worry, singles are welcome everywhere.

It is almost impossible to list all of naturist beaches along Croatian Adriatic coast. Everywhere there are many little, hidden coves often used by naturist.
