Can Brown's Gas run an engine?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
Gasoline internal combustion engines run excellently on Brown's Gas but don't expect a self-running engine (water alone), because it takes over 10 times the power to create the Brown's Gas than you get out of the engine running on it. However a slight amount of Brown's Gas can significantly increase combustion efficiency. Mileage gains over 50% have been achieved, with power increase and longer engine life. See the HyZor Technology offered by Eagle-Research.

How do I convert an engine to run on LP gas?

Plano Power Equipment - Frequently Asked Questions
It is not an easy job. It can easily run $100-$300 or more. Legal requirements vary from state to state. Here in Texas, it must be done by someone licensed to do that type of work. This probably holds true in most other states. To find out, check with your local propane dealer. If he can't do the work, he should be able to recommend someone who can. See similar questions...

How much gas per minute do we need to run an internal combustion engine?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
Just to idle a 140 ci (no work) at 500 rpm will take about 3000 liters of Brown's Gas per hour (about 1/2 of requirement if running straight hydrogen). Generating this volume of Brown's Gas (even with our super-efficient electrolyzers) will require about 9 kW of power; which the vehicle alternator cannot physically provide. Even if you put an alternator on the engine big enough to provide the power, it couldn't make enough BG to power itself. See similar questions...

What cutting operations can Brown's Gas be used for?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
BG only 'cuts' iron, using the same equipment and techniques as any other fuel-gas. It does cut about 25% faster and the cut is of higher quality. The cost of cutting is significantly reduced, not only because BG is less expensive but because labor time is reduced. See similar questions...

What type of gas line should I run?

quot; copper tubing is all that is needed to burn properly, however, many local codes require 1/2" black pipe. Please check with your local building inspector. See similar questions...

Will an engine run cooler with VP?

VP Fuels FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Yes, C-12 and C-14 will absorb more heat than other gasolines and tend to cool the intake charge. This is especially noticeable in 2-stroke applications. See similar questions...

Is it possible to ship Brown's Gas similar to the way that natural gas is bottled and shipped?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
Possible, but difficult and impractical. First it has hydrogen in the mixture, which will leak out of most containers, making the gas you get less BG than what was sent. Second, it is a hydrogen:oxygen mixture, so it is an explosive mixture and subject to explosive materials laws. Third, it can only be stored at low pressure so very little gas can be in the container. See similar questions...

What is brown sugar?

Kombucha FAQ Part 1b sugar - Frequently Asked Questions
In the US, this is just refined sugar with some molasses added back in. The US food law says that only refined sugar (no raw components) can be sold with this name. This law may actually have more to do with enforcing a similar taste for both sugar beets and sugar cane, since the beets, when unrefined, have a poorer taste than cane sugar. Another type of brown sugar is called "Piloncillo," a Mexican brown sugar which is semi-refined granulated sugar. See similar questions...

Tempest Technology Corporation
Run times will vary depending upon the speed of the engine. The average run time, depending on fuel quality, for a tank of gas is approximately one to two hours. See similar questions...

WHAT HAPPENS IF I RUN OUT OF GAS?

Pennsylvania Propane Gas Association - PaPropane.com
If an appliance valve or a gas line is left open when the propane supply runs out, a leak could occur when the system is recharged with propane. Air and moisture could get into an empty or depleted storage tank, which can cause rust build-up inside the tank. Rust can decrease the concentration of the odor of propane, making it harder to smell. If your propane tank runs out of gas, any pilot lights on your appliances will go out. This can be extremely dangerous if not handled properly. See similar questions...

What type of gas should I fill it with, and what if I run out of propane?

FAQ
We require you run it only with SUPREME/PREMIUM gas. This will give you the best vehicle performance, and lessens engine damage. There is one weeks worth of propane in it. Should you run out, filling locations are readily available island wide. No, that's all a part of your vacation. It wouldn't be much of a vacation if you had to do all that!! Is the water in it filtered; safe to drink? The water is NOT filtered. We fill the 15 gallon holding tank with potable city water. See similar questions...

Can I save gasoline by adding Brown's Gas to the motor air intake?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
This is an excellent use of BG. Studies from authoritative sources have proven that adding BG to the combustion process of carbon based fuel (like propane, gasoline, diesel, bio-diesel and crude) significantly increases the combustion efficiency. This is because BG acts like a catalyst, lowering the endothermic energy needed for combustion self-propagation. This allows the combustion process to be faster and more complete (lowering emissions). See similar questions...

Can Brown's Gas assist the combustion of petro fuels?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
Absolutely and this is a good use for Brown's Gas. Our experiments show that even a tiny amount of Brown's Gas makes a noticeable improvement in petro fuel combustion. This is one basis for our HyZor Technology. Do you have a list of references for satisfied customers who would not mind discussing their experiences with the Brown's gas? A. We are working to put together such a list. We do not give out people's contact information without their express written permission. See similar questions...

I work with gold and silver. Can I use Brown's Gas to make jewelry?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
Brown's Gas has been used by jewelers for over 30 years (those ones who have found out about it), as the gas of choice. It is a trade secret because any jeweler who uses BG has a competitive advantage. It solders, welds, brazes, preheats, plasma spray, anneals, etc. better than any other fuel-gas. It is EXTREMELY precise and has minimal heating of nearby components. BG is not in widespread use because (until now) the machines were expensive, inefficient and poorly marketed. How does cutting with Brown's Gas compare to plasma?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
Not as fast in thinner metal, break even about 0.75" thick. Much faster in thick metal. Practically zero consumables and torch maintenance. Considerably less electricity required. Can only 'cut' iron. See similar questions...

How does Brown's Gas compare with laser cutting of metals?

How fine a kerf is possible when cutting with Brown's gas?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
Finer than all other oxy-fuel cutting. Because of the laser-like flame, you can use smaller tips to cut the same thickness of metal. Smaller tips also use less oxygen to cut the same thickness of metal. See similar questions...

Can Brown's Gas be stored for a long period of time, if so, under what conditions?

FAQ - Watertorch.com
BG can be stored, if low pressure and cool (at this time I do not recommend over 20 PSI at 70°F) in the absence of light. Light causes the Brown's Gas to devolve (loses energy and volume). The gas will self-explode/implode at some given temperature, depending on the pressure (and vice versa), the higher the temperature, the lower the possible storage pressure. See similar questions...
