You should check with your insurance company and/or physician to determine whether any of these products are reimbursable, and if so, what procedure you need to follow to obtain this reimbursement.

Our staff does their best to keep abreast of what the different plans cover. However, due to constant changes with insurance coverage, it is ultimately your responsibility to know what your insurance plan covers. If the insurance company does not pay the full balance or denies the claim, any unpaid balance is due within 30 days following the appointment.

Insurance carriers vary a great deal in their policies. Casa Palmera will help you obtain information about you insurance's benefits. An insurance plan may or may not cover the cost of your stay. Casa Palmera has no control over the ultimate outcome of insurance reviews and your insurance provider may not guarantee payment upon final billing. Premiums for health insurance have increased across-the-board in recent years as health insurers have experienced increased claim costs. These increases are due in part to increased medical costs, people utilizing more services, and advances in medical technology. As claim costs increase, premiums must also be increased to ensure there are sufficient funds for future claims.

You will be provided with a list of all insurance companies that accept claims electronically from QSI. This list will be updated periodically and revisions will sent to your system. For those that don't, QSI can print and mail them for you.

The Center for Autism accepts medical assistance from Philadelphia residents. Community Behavioral Health (CBH) will cover the evaluation for individuals with medical assistance. We have a sliding scale fee for service for residents of Philadelphia County. This means that fee for service is based on your family's income and expenses. The fee scale ranges from $0 to $600. If you do not have medical assistance we encourage you to have a liability assessment completed prior to the evaluation.
