Intercessory missionaries are, like action missionaries, called to take the Gospel, the testimony of Jesus, to the ends of the earth. But intercessory missionaries are connected to centers of prayer and keep intimacy, devotion, communion, and prayer as the core of all they do. They do nothing apart from the place of prayer.

It is acceptable to do one of the following; gently tap the individual on the shoulder, wave one's hand toward the Deaf person, call out in a low tone, or stomping a foot that causes a vibration. Unfortunately, a Deaf person will only get about 33% of what you are saying. Even this requires that the individual be an excellent lip reader, which most Deaf individuals are not. For the average Deaf individual that percentage is much lower.

There are several reasons to hire a Deaf individual. Deaf employees have work records equal to, or better than, Hearing employees as far as, safety, job performance and reliability. Furthermore, by hiring Deaf individuals, corporations help dispel many myths and negative attitudes people have toward Deafness, due to lack of knowledge or interaction with the Deaf community.

Deaf people face many barriers to "hearing" the Word of God. Illiteracy, isolation, distances, hardships and various communication problems, to mention a few. Another is the vast "hidden field" itself, numbering about 1 deaf and 20 hard of hearing to every 1,000 persons. A special outreach, like CMD, could better address some of these problems and needs.

Some are and some are not. We do not discriminate on the basis of hearing. Our bottom line criteria for taking a dog into the rescue is aggression. We do not take people aggressive dogs or dogs that have bitten. Aggression has nothing to do with deafness.

Absolutely! While most of our male clients are men from America, we have had many men join and marry from outside of the U.S. We have many German men, European men, Canadian men, Asian men, and African American men. The ladies are looking for good men who will treat them well, love them, and respect them...from America or other countries outside of Russia. Currently about 20% of our male clients are from outside of the U.S.
