The problem here is that Internet Explorer versions 5 and 6 only incompletely support the Cascaded Style Sheet (CSS) standard. If it works now, one of your add-ons is causing the problem. Start Internet Explorer as normal, Tools, Manage Add-ons, Enable or Disable Add-ons. Restart your browser and enable the add-ons one by one till the problem appears and you get the culprit. As a web developer who wants to see the Internet make some progress, a lot. I don't cater to Microsoft's browser because it hasn't had any significant improvements in half a decade, which is forever in Internet terms. It's way outdated and simply doesn't support a lot of the stuff I want to do on this website.
