Simple! Use a non-abrasive, non-ammonia based window cleaner. Dishwashing soap and water is best with a soft damp cloth, soft paper towel or a squeegee. If you have professional window cleaners, just make sure to tell them that the windows have been treated with window tint and not to use a razor blade.

VISTA is professionally installed on the inside of the window. There is very little or no mess, and there is no inconvenience to the customer during the installation process. Clients can feel relaxed and at ease because there is no danger to their precious furnishings.

Our Window Films are professionally applied by skilled, well-trained personnel. Almost all of our films are designed to be applied to the inside of your glass. The first step is to prepare the window area for the application; placing drop cloths on the floor, protecting and/or moving furniture where necessary. Next, the window glass is cleaned using simple cleaning solutions (often water and baby shampoo!) and razor blade scrapers.

After thirty days, you may clean Scotchtint™ Films using normal household cleaning solutions, including ammonia based products, e.g. Windex, and a soft, lint-free cloth or towel. You may also use a squeegee to clean the film. Abrasive products which could scratch or damage the film should not be used.

Because the there is no control over the installation process, the manufacture cannot provide a warranty on the film. This is however, the same film that they give a lifetime warranty when professionally done, so you can expect many years of use.

Contrary to what most people think, the window films we offer do not need to be replaced every couple years like automobile tint. In fact, some of our customers have been enjoying the tint on their windows for over twenty years. Though the actual longevity of the film will vary in different circumstances, the products we offer should last at least fifteen years.

The life expectancy of window film is dependent upon multiple variables (climate, exposure to sun, etc…). The average life expectancy is ten years and beyond; and, many customers have had 3M window film on their windows for over twenty years.

We have many skeptical people that inquire to us that if installing window film will really help to reduce heat, fading, and glare in there office or home. the answer is yes, it sells itself if installed properly. The most common inquiries we get are newly constructed buildings and homes (and we get our fair share of older structures too). Now days, the use of larger, more numerous windows are being used in architectural design more than ever before.

We usually tell people just to treat their window tinting like the paint on their car (except no waxing ) and just don't let it get so dirty you can grow potatoes on it. Clean your window film with mild soap and water on the inside (which is where the film is installed) and on the outside of the glass you can use whatever you like. Note* Use of harsh cleaners such as Windex TM or other ammonia based cleaners if used on any window films out there WILL shorten the life span of the window film.

Many of our window films come in standard width sizes and are sold by the linear foot.
