Yes. NYC has no special setting for 8386 but one of our users has described how you can specify print margins in NYC’s Print Setup to make the print work. The following settings were used in File… Print Setup… Then, when you print the recipes to the 4x6 cards, remember to click the "use Print Setup margins" rather than the NYC default margins. The NYC user reported this worked like a champ.

Printing in one full page of 4 x6 (4 colons and 6 rows) is possible when the pictures are different. That is, if you have 16 pictures and you want to print it out all in one page - 4 x 6. However, if you would like to print one image or picture to cover the whole page 4 x 6, then the software could not respond to that request on this version. NYC’s print options will work on A4 paper, even though NYC is designed for Letter size paper (8.5x11 inches). To use A4 paper, just put A4 paper into your printer, set the printer for A4, and set the printer driver for A4 (see Start menu… Printers and Faxes… right click your printer and select Properties, then make sure paper size is set to A4). Answer: Yes you can, BUT... Although dot matrix printers can print almost anything, they are best suited for certain tasks and less suited for others. You must understand, that under Windows, dot matrix printers will default to printing in "graphics mode". In this mode, the computer sends information to the printer dot by dot (pin by pin in other words) and makes the printer print extremely slow but the resulting printout will be very nice and things like pictures and logos will print. This will create a file that will work fine in Word - it will have line breaks after the ingredients but not the directions (they will wrap). While the Reports module standardizes all of the mailing labels on Avery's most common size of label, it is very easy to change the label size. Yes. By choosing a paper size, and adjusting margins, columns, and rows you can make any size of uniformly arrayed rectangles, i.e., you can fit all of Avery's paper products using our software. For example, we make our own business cards using this product. We use the Avery 5371 paper. To make 2" x 3.5" cards, set columns to 2 and rows to 5. Yes. Once you attach an image to a recipe in NYC, a copy of the image is stored in your cookbook’s image archive (*.ima). You may want to keep the original image files for backup, but they are not needed for NYC operation. NYC only backs up or upgrades files directly under your user folder. No. When you delete a category, recipes are no longer assigned to that category, and the category is removed from that cookbook's category list. Recipes are never deleted from your cookbook unless you select them and press the delete button in the recipe selection window, or you perform a dupe kill operation.
