Castles started appearing in Europe in 1066. Their construction came to a halt when gunpowder was implemented many centuries later.

Castles had multiple purposes. Protecting peasants and nobles was the most important reason why castles were widely built. Additionally, many lords and kings did frequently construct castles for the sake of power - since it was realized that such a huge construction could show a lord's might throughout the kingdom.

With the introduction of gunpowder, castles proved to be useless. Even the mightiest of castles was no match against a cannon.

Castles were normally built by kings and lords. In the Middle Ages, there was a law that prohibited nobles from building them.

Most of the castles we visit are far away from the cities. Getting there by public transportation is quite difficult. In some cases there is only one or two buses/trains that depart to that castle per day.

Earlier castles were normally built of timber and earth. They were very hastily built, but their ineffectiveness was evident when fire was employed against them.

Many players forget to get the murder holes technology in the university. Without this, any type of unit could hack away as long as it wanted to at the base of the castle and not be touched.

Some castles can be seen today. Nevertheless, most have been lost due to wars, etc. Many lords demolished castles so they could build themselves a palace with the stone retrieved. This happened very frequently, but even more frequently did nobles bought a castle and remodeled it.

I inherited property owned by my Father and Mother, which they had in turn received from their Parents. 7 Greater houses, 17 lesser houses. I bought and built private property which I own personally.

I draw them myself. For the first few years, I visited libraries wherever I travelled, looking for previously unseen books about castles. I photocopied pictures and plans for hundreds of real castles, and kept them in alphabetical stacks. Once I had gathered enough information about a castle, that castle's pictures was moved to the short stack of castles to be drawn in Lego "minifig-scale" - the size Lego knights and ladies could live in. There are no zoning codes that restrict Natural Spaces domes, and our domes exceed all energy codes. You may be restricted on height as some codes have a maximum height of 30' to 35'. Most of our domes are less than 30' high but the code height is measured from the average grade line. It's only when you have a developer who is a builder, and they want you to build their house, they then put restrictions on their lots - "no log homes, no earth homes, no domes, no imagination".

The concept of a FRF was first proposed in 1963 by Rudolph Savage, Chief of Research Division of the Coastal Engineering Research Center (CERC). The FRF was to have 4 goals. Provide a rigid platform from land, across the dunes, beach, and surf zone out to 6-m (20-ft) water depth from which waves, currents, water levels, and bottom elevations could be measured, especially during severe storms.

This is not a simple question to answer! We need to look at your garden as a main grassy area which is surrounded by obstacles. The obstacles cannot be too close to the castle without causing damage to it and danger to the children, a low obstacle such as a raised manhole cover can be closer to the castle than a tall one such as a garden shed because there is relatively little movement at the bottom.

Generally our bouncy castles are for children only, however some may be used by teenagers or adults provided that a "Teenager" or "Adult" hire charge is paid. Price list

We provide a free rain cover for all bouncy castles except the flat topped 15x15, this is because our manufacturers have advised us that the span is too great and the cover would simply sag too low in the middle.

We try to be as flexible as we can and work around you as much as we can, we have in the past delivered as early as 8:30am and collected as late as 11:00pm but we do need to work around times which may already have been promised to other customers and sensible bedtimes for our 7 year old son if there is school the next day!
