Engadget, I believe I am among the first to post a cool feature of the Wii, which is incorrectly stated in this article. The Wii's blue LED light will ALSO light up when you receive a new friend-mail message over the Wii's wifi connection. This light stays on and breathes like a standby mode for a computer. Looks very cool. My brother-in-law got a Wii this morning and we spent part of the day playing with it at my parents' house. It was fun.

The wireless modem connects to your computer via a USB or Ethernet Port. You need to check which of these you have free on your computer before you order your Unwired modem. There's no official word on the camera, other than the fact that it is a 2.0 megapixel camera. Nothing about the camera was demoed at the keynote other than a mention that it's 2.0 megapixels. Unfortunately, you cannot. The USB on the empeg is a slave port. You need a USB master to drive the adaptor and the empeg doesn't have one and won't have one. The empeg folks have said that: of the people need a slave device so they can hook it up to their home PC for downloads (and a master can't talk to a master without special additional hardware), and USB master chips usually come attached to a PCI bus - which the empeg doesn't have. If you are connecting directly to one PC, under windows 98SE, 2000 or XP, either Parallel or USB is usually fine. However, the way XP handles USB devices may cause you to lose the device occasionally. This is because XP assigns virtual USB ports to multiple devices on the same USB bus. If the plotter is switched off or disconnected when the PC is booted up, it may be found later as a new device on a different virtual port, and the driver may need to be installed again.

With the current adapters you cant, the USB modem is the DSL equivalent of a WinModem and requires some processor power to perform the modem functions and convert the ATM data into TCP/IP for presentation to the PC.
