The GLHA is a member of the MHAO separate from the Junior Knights. Click on the question to visit the GLHA website. The GLHA consists of six members, collectively representing the entire City of London: LMHA (East), North London, Oakridge (Northwest), South London, Southeast London and West London. Each member runs a competitive A/MD progam at most age levels and they compete against one another in the Forest City Hockey League.

The Higher Learning Commission is the newly-renamed arm of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools that is responsible for the accreditation of colleges, universities and other institutions of higher learning. The full title used to be North Central Association Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. The new name is simpler and reflects the shift in higher education toward accountability for student learning.

From US-131 or US-31 heading north: Upon arriving in Petoskey, continue on US-31 north through town. The North American Danish Warmblood Association, or NADWA as it is most often referred to, is the North American region of the Danish founded association "Dansk Varmblod" (Danish Warmblood). NADWA was founded in 2001 and has a board and members.

A - Skates are not always completely black as they are now being made in a few other colors. Some skates are a combination of black and other colors. When skates were mainly leather made they were actually a dark brown not black.

A - Your skate blades are very sharp and therefore very dangerous. You can cut yourself very badly with them. Be extremely careful in the handling of your skates both on and off the ice. Former NHL great Borje Salming once needed almost 300 stitches to his face after being stepped on by a skate and former goalie Clint Malarchuk had his jugular vein cut by a skate. There have also been instances of players' fingers being cut off when being skated over.

Apparently the fire smoldered for a long time due to a restricted supply of oxygen, gradually spreading up the stairway and raising the temperature in the lower stairwell. As the air became hotter and hotter, it ascended through an open pipe shaft leading to the attic above the second floor. Then, at the base of the stairway where the fire began, the intense heat finally shattered a nearby window to the outside, providing a huge volume of fresh oxygen to the fire.

The Major-Minor option requires a BSc student to take at least one Science Major and one Minor. You may do a second or third Minor if your timetable permits you to do so. The second Minor or third Minor will also be recorded on transcripts if you have successfully completed the requirements.
