A few hundred bucks spending cash should do it. The only thing we don't cover is your bar tab, phone calls, and purchases like souvenirs. If you don't drink alcohol then a hundred bucks might be enough. If you do drink, well, you be the judge on that. Bring cash in small denominations - one's, five's, and ten's work best. Don't expect a bartender or souvenir store guy to give you change for a Fifty or Hundred. Don't bother with travelers' checks.
