Within the application a meal plan can be changed at either the client level or globally. If you make changes on the client screen (the Meal Plan Tab) those changes will only be for the client. To find those changes select the "Previous Plans" radio button. You can see the changed plan. Now you may modify or print it. To make changes to a meal plan that will be reflected for all clients select Nutrition/Add/Edit Meal Plan from the menu.

Residential meal plans cannot be changed to another plan once the residence halls open for the term. Meal plans can be changed for the fall 2007 semester through August 22, 2007 and for the spring 2008 semester through January 8, 2008. After these dates there will be a $50 administrative fee. All first year students are required to be on a traditional 19 or 15 meal plan.

You will select your meal plan each semester and have the first five days from the official first day of classes of each semester to change your meal plan selection if you choose to do so. Only one change allowed per semester.

During the first two weeks of the Fall Semester and select other times, yes you can. It's easy. If your meal plan turns out to be not quite right for you, we're happy to help. Change your meal plan on-line at (https://rudi.reshalls.umn.edu/mealplan/change_mp.php) and for spring semester during the on-line Housing and Residential Life reapplication process in December. (NOTE: You will need to log using your University Internet ID.)

Meal plans cannot be changed once the semester has begun. All changes after that point will need to wait until the next semester. It is assumed that your meal plan will remain the same for both semesters. If you wish to change your meal plan for the following semester, you need to fill out your Spring Intention form or stop by the Residence Life Office by the last day of the semester.

Applications submitted by the deadline will be reviewed and applicants notified whether or not their application was approved or denied. If your application is approved, your account will be adjusted on Wednesday, September 14, 2007. Any increase will be reflected on your next invoice. If there is a credit, it will be applied to your next housing payment or if your account is paid in full, it will be refunded to you/designated payor three to six weeks after September 14.
