Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a term used to describe problem-solving processes that can be far superior to using adjudicative methods for resolving conflicts. In the past, we have used a PC cluster, DVD players, and a SGI to drive the wall. We integrated the systems with the display by running them through a switch with a video controller. User input was via a touch panel. This year, we are planning on having a SGI and I believe there may also be a cluster (configuration currently unknown). We will be running the PowerPoint presentations from a plasma screen that adjoins the tiled display.

Edna Povich, the independent ADR expert from the Center for Dispute Settlement (CDS) has completed her research and is in process of preparing a report of her findings and recommendations for the Center's ADR program for informal EEO complaints. In the near future, Ms. Povich's report will be conveyed to both GSFC and the Class for comments and recommendations as to the proposed redesign of the ADR program.
