We support Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Long Term Support). This is the 'enterprise' version of Ubuntu and is officially supported by Canonical, the commercial arm of Ubuntu (this version will be supported by them for the next 3 - 5 years). When the next release candidate of "LTS" is available we will support it; the next candidate is likely 18 - 24 months out. There are newer versions of Ubuntu (eg 6.10) available in their community but we do not support or test against them.

There are several different versions of Ubuntu, some with a different desktop and others for a specific market. Here is some information about them. In addition to supporting nearly any application for Linux and Solaris, DieHard currently protects Firefox on Windows XP and 2003. DieHard works with Firefox versions 1.5.0.9 and higher, as well as version 2.0.0.1.

Currently, the driver works under FreeBSD 5.3, NetBSD 2.0 and OpenBSD 3.6. An effort is made to keep in sync with -CURRENT branches but it is possible that the driver will not compile from time to time under -CURRENT. Great care has been taken to avoid endianness problems during development. Thus, the driver should work with non-i386 architectures although it has not been tested.

The Linux NTFS Driver supports: Unicode filenames (converted into a local codepage, or utf8); compressed files; sparse files. However, the driver cannot read encrypted files, it ignores Windows' security information and ignores quotas set by Windows.

SlimServer scans MP3 files for ID3 tag versions 1.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4. The tags it pays attention to include title, artist, album, comment, year, track number, disc set numbers, band/orchestra, composer and genre.

The AspectJ compiler produces programs for any released version of the Java platform (jdk1.1 and later). When running, your program classes must be able to reach classes in the small (< 100K) runtime library (aspectjrt.jar) from the distribution. Imagine something like that... ...for free.

We'd sure love to! The problem is, we don't have a clue how to do it =). If anyone else is capable of programming the KDE/GNOME side of this extension, we would welcome the help. For now, a good tool for tray minimizing on Linux is KDocker. It works for all NET WM compliant window managers, including KDE, GNOME, Xfce and many more.

K2 is available on both Window NT and LINUX. The implementation is fairly ORB independent that supports CORBA 2.4 features. At the moment we are able to port to TAO, ORBACUS and ORBIX. The distribution is available with TAO 1.2. It's possible to run K2 with different flavor of ORB, platform, Operating System and compiler in a clustered configuration and deploy binaries in respective K2 container using deployment tool.
