Hand wash your ugg boots in warm water, using an approved wool detergent. To dry, place your uggs in the shade, away from heat or direct sunlight and allow to dry out slowly to retain the soft, supple finish. For more information please refer to Ugg Boots Care.

Our newest rug construction is a flatweave woven dhurry (dhurrie). Dhurries are a great alternative to a thicker pile rug because dhurries are only 3/8" inch thick. We offer three different fibers for our dhurries. Sorry, dhurries cannot be custom ordered. They are manufactered in lots of 10. See what is available on our Dhurries webpage. The most popular custom rug construction is hand-tufted, 100% wool rugs. These rugs have wool binding and cotton backing.

Uggs" commonly refers to the Ugg boots produced by UGG Australia. UGG Australia was founded by an Australian surfer who popularized his sheepskin boots among Californian surfers, who needed something warm and soft to keep their feet warm. These boots later infiltrated into mainstream culture and became a trend and other companies began making them (though keep in mind that UGG Australia was not the first to produce boots of this style). Everyone was wearing them.

We clean rugs using mild detergent and cold water. All rugs get thoroughly dusted and vacuumed before getting a wash. Once all dust is removed, we proceed with the wash option you have chosen to clean your rug. In almost all cases the entire process is done by hand. As far as insurance goes, you can insure your rugs for the price you paid or for what you would have paid if you had bought them from another company. Replacement cost is generally what people insure their possessions for, and that is what we recommend.

Recommended frequency varies greatly. Each home has different usage patterns. Also color and type of carpet as a lot of impact in determining how often to clean. That said "Rule of Thumb" would be daily use areas at least once a year. Light colored carpets with heavy use can require 2-4 times per year. Clean ahead of a traffic lane becoming very visible to ensure soil does not discolor the halls, steps & family rooms.

Dilana rugs are unique. Some are one-off originals, signed by the artist. Others are limited editions of five, ten or twenty. Once an edition is sold, it is never reproduced.

All rugs are finest quality, 100% pure New Zealand wool. They are very hard wearing and are suitable for commercial use in areas of heavy foot traffic, as well as residential interiors (see product specifications).

The names of Oriental rugs are often difficult to pronounce and confusing to many. They conjure up images of faraway lands and exotic locales such as Sarouk, Kashan, Kerman, Bokhara, Peking, Samarkand, Heriz and Tabriz. The names originally referred to the cities, villages or nomadic tribe which specialized in a specific rug weave, pattern or quality.
